Dear John:
God allows us to go through our own trials and tribulations just to hold us even closer when we overcome. Your story is one in which many are finding strength and comfort. Although you suffered more than what any of us can fanthom to bear, you never lost your faith. We thank God for your faithfulness to the cause of Christ; we thank God for your enduring the pain and suffering, just as Jesus did at Calvary and never denying that you served a "Mighty God." We know that God Himself was at that Pearly gate, ready to welcome you into His kingdom, a mansion made not with hands, eternal in heavens. May God continue to comfort your beloved family.
You are gone, but not forgotten dear friend!

DEAR Anike, the Nokuri and Fomenky Family
It is with deep regret that I lent of John's early departure. It is true that, while he was still with us his life was one of joy, though he was constantly down with illness but we all remember he was a fighter who never let anyone feel sorry for him because of his condition. You all sure did love and will miss him but do not be hopeless because our loving father Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ promise resurrection for our dead in the book of John chapter 5 verses 28 & 29. May they (JWH 7 His son) be your strength, your comforters, your stronghold during this difficult moment. We do have you in our prayers and stay blessed.

Daniell Acha-Morfaw & Family | Words seem inadequate to express the sadness!!! | May 2, 2010 |
Nzewoh what moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget from K'Town to 733 Sligo ave #611 ss, MD. where you joined me upon arrival to the USA. Rest is peace.
Kafain Emmanuel Mbeng, Sr | John's Deacon | May 2, 2010 |
John and I joined Mount Vernon Baptist Church in South Arlington, Virginie in 1985. We spent many years of fellowship and religious participation until he moved to Silver Spring, Maryland, where he continued his struggles with an illness that he grew into. Even the illness never took away from John the joy of life, and he did all he could do to enjoy every day as if it was the last day. Needless to recount all his pleasurable moments. We shared some great moments together, and I thank Emile for keeping me updated whenever John was in and out of hospitals.
John's mother and mine served in the Baptist Mission since we were born, and raised us to believe and trust in the promises of eternity by Our Lord Jesus Christ. I am sure John is in heaven, and believe we all will meet again in spirit. My best wishes to all in the Williams and Fomenky families during the difficult, but special time that we are mourning and celebrating the mystery of John's life.
God's Blessing Upon Us All !!! Kafain Emmanuel Mbeng, Sr
